We understand plans change. Here is exactly how cancellations and refunds work at Maddy Tours Egypt.
1. Cancellation Charges
Cancellation fees depend on how close to the travel date you cancel:
- 60+ days before departure: 15% of the total tour cost
- 45 - 59 days before departure: 25% of the total tour cost
- 30 - 44 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost
- 15 - 29 days before departure: 75% of the total tour cost
- Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of the total tour cost (non-refundable)
2. How To Cancel
To cancel a booking, please contact us in writing (email is preferred) at info@maddytoursegypt.com or call +20 100 040 0527. Cancellation is effective from the date we receive your written request.
3. Refund Process
- Refunds are processed within 10 - 14 business days of the cancellation confirmation.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
- Any bank or gateway transaction charges are deducted from the refund amount.
4. Non-Refundable Services
Certain services such as flight tickets, cruise bookings, hotel special offers and entry tickets may carry their own non-refundable terms. Where this applies, the specific amount will be communicated to you before you book.
5. Changes To Your Booking
If you wish to change your travel date, we will do our best to accommodate you at no extra charge, subject to availability. Date changes made within 30 days of departure may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.
6. Cancellation By Us
In the unlikely event that Maddy Tours Egypt cancels a tour (for example, due to force majeure or insufficient participation), you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, or the option to transfer to an alternative tour of equal value.
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies and lost luggage.
